JaMP Player is a freeware audio player app and MP3 player developed by Jarkko Tuovinen for Windows. It's light on system resources and minimalistic.
The download has been tested by an editor here on a PC with some screenshots included to illustrate the user interface.
A very basic and fast audio player supporting BASS codec
JaMP Player is a small audio player that doesn't support skins or audio file tags (for offline streams). The only visual enhancement is adjusting of the window opacity.
JaMP is very lightweight and fast. Files in the playlist are arranged by their filename. For playback JaMP Player uses third party BASS codec from Un4Seen. The most popular audio file and internet radio stream formats are supported.
JaMP supports keyboard shortcuts and mouse control. Mouse control means that you can change the track by simply tapping the left side of the desktop.
Compatibility and License
JaMP Player is provided under a freeware license on Windows from MP3 player software with no restrictions on usage. Download and installation of this PC software is free and 4.2.2.0 is the latest version last time we checked.
What version of Windows can JaMP Player run on?
JaMP Player can be used on a computer running Windows 11 or Windows 10. Previous versions of the OS shouldn't be a problem with Windows 8 and Windows 7 having been tested. It comes in both 32-bit and 64-bit downloads.
